Water Quality Report

Each summer, members of the Sylvia Lake Association take water samples to the lab to assure everyone that our lake water remains as clear and clean as we expect.

In 2023, the 41st Ferguson Family Fishing Derby will be the "Last Cast." For the past 40 years, Gale Ferguson and his sisters have organized the Charlie Ferguson Fishing Derby, in honor of their father.

Spring 2023 Trout Stocking for St. Lawrence County. This is the anticipated number of yearling and older trout to be stocked into listed waters during spring 2023.

2023 DEC Burn Ban

March 16, 2023 to May 14, 2023. Open burning is the single greatest cause of wildfires in NYS. Since 2009, when the Spring burn ban started, wildfires have decreased by more than 40%.
