QUICK FACTS

Eurasian Milfoil is an invasive species that has been causing problems in Sylvia lake since 2004
-
Milfoil currently affects all our lake shores to some degree.

Sylvia lake is so clear that milfoil has been found in 30 feet of water.

Past attempts through mats and harvesting have not solved the problem.

The Association Board and Milfoil Task Force are exploring options to save our lake. These include:
- Additional mats, - Harvesting, - Limited herbicide use
