11th Annual Nori Grout Regatta

It was a hazy, breezy Sunday for the 2025 Nori Grout Annual Regatta. Everyone around the lake loves to see the colorful sails as the boats race for the bouy and around for the finish. We had 8 boats this year! This is a wonderful way to remember Nori Grout, who, for many years, taught Sylvia Lake kids how to sail. We are grateful to her daughters and granddaughters for continuing this tradition.
Congratulations to all the sailors of the 11th Annual Nori Grout Regatta! The winners of the sunfish sailors were:
1st: Tricia Grout Garrett
2nd: Mike O'Shaughnessy
3rd: Greg Force
And LarryDiane Kraker on his Hobie was first to sail through the finish line!
Thanks as ever to: Emily Sprague, Greg Force, and Roxanne Tyler for coordinating and set-up! Phil Sprague for being Commodore! And John Wright and Bob Garrrett for being on rescue duty! (Thank you to Reporter, Caroline Sprague)
