Stanley E. Orford, age 95, of Gouverneur and formerly of Sylvia Lake, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.
There will be calling hours for Stan on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 11:00-1:00 at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. His funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hailesboro Cemetery.

James E. Fuller, born November 1, 1930 in Potsdam, NY, died peacefully May 1, 2025 at Iroquois Nursing Home. While home on leave from the Navy, he met his wife, Patricia M. Fuller. They were married for 62 years before Pat passed, February 29, 2016. After going to college on the GI bill, Jim worked for IBM for over 30 years as a customer engineer. Upon retirement, Jim and Pat RV'd, discovering our wonderful country and their own artistic talents, keeping Elbridge, NY as their home base. James is pre-deceased by his wife, Patricia, who died February 29, 2016. He is survived by his children John Stevens Fuller and Kolleen M Fuller as well as his grandsons, James. S. Fuller (Lynde) and David S. Fuller (Felicia) and multiple great grandchildren. A memorial service to be held at a later date at their beloved camp on Sylvia Lake.

SYLVIA LAKE – Joanne M. Orford, age 91, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at her home under the loving care of her children and Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley. Joanne's husband, Stan, passed away on May 2, 2025.
